A Windows 11 Pro key activates in two minutes. Here’s how, plus the most common errors.
1. Check your edition
Open Settings → System → About. You’ll see “Windows 11 Home” or “Windows 11 Pro”.
2. Open the Activation page
Settings → System → Activation, then Change product key.
3. Paste your key
Copy the key from “My account → Licence keys” on DZ Key Shop and paste it. Stay connected to the internet.
4. Done
Windows shows “Windows is activated”. If you were on Home with a Pro key, Windows upgrades to Pro automatically without touching your files.
Common errors
- 0xC004F050: the key doesn’t match the installed edition (a Home key on a Pro PC, for example).
- 0xC004C003: the key has already been used. Send us a screenshot and we’ll replace it.
- No internet: activation needs a connection.
